Legal Limits and Implications
Under Section 5 and Section 5a of the Road Traffic Act, there are strict limits for blood alcohol concentration and specific controlled drugs. Exceeding these limits can result in severe penalties, making accurate and timely testing essential. The limits for Alcohol in blood are 80mg/100mL and the limit in urine is 107mg/100mL.
